James Isaac Hunter Sr.

James Isaac Hunter, Sr., 79, of Taylors passed away August 1, 2019. He was the son of the late James Thomas Hunter and Novella Eunice Leonhardt Hunter.
Survivors include his Wife; Ann Evans Hunter of the home, one son; James Isaac Hunter Jr. of Taylors, and his wife Hillary, two Daughters; Celia & Jules Hunter both of Taylors and two Brothers; Donnie of Rock Hill SC and Ron of Lake Wylie SC.
Jim retired from Leigh Fibers in Spartanburg. Jim loved children and after retirement worked part time with The Pavilion as a conductor on the train. He was an avid Gamecock fan and spent many years never missing a football game. He was an active and devoted member of Taylors First Baptist Church.
A Memorial service will be held 3:00pm Sunday August 11, at Taylors First Baptist Church in the Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00pm-3:00pm.
The family suggest that if anyone wishes to make memorials to Alzheimer’s Association, 123 West Antrim Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.
