James Darrin Wilson, 54, of Fountain Inn went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Darrin was born November 20, 1965 to the late Billy Ray Wilson and Glenda Ann Wilson of Greenville. After graduating from Wren High School, he married the love of his life and had 34 wonderful fun filled years with her. He was a truck driver for most of his life but enjoyed the runs he got to do with his son in the last few years more than anything. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, spending time with his family and ANYTHING to do with his grandchildren, they were the light of his life. He was a devoted husband, father, papa, brother and friend. Darrin loved all his friends and was blessed with so many wonderful people in his life. He was a good hearted, fun loving guy who never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face and a laugh that would brighten your day.
Darrin is preceded by his father Bill Wilson. Surviving, in addition to his wife Kelly Wilson, are his children Kasey Tucker (TJ) and Cody Wilson (Jessica), mother Glenda Wilson, brothers Johnny Wilson (Tina) and Victor Wilson. He also had 2 very special grandchildren, Trey and Addy, along with beloved nieces, nephews and many other family members.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 12 at Hillside Baptist Church in Fountain Inn at 2 PM with a celebration of life to follow at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cancer Society of Greenville.
