Jerry Lee Hill

Rev. Jerry Lee Hill, 58, of Townville passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Janet, and his six children, Jonathon, Hannah, Priscilla, Josiah, Samuel, and Abigail Hill. He is also survived by two brothers, Mike Hill and Terry Hill, and two sisters, Barbara Mattison and Sue Bolding.
An ordained minister, Rev. Hill graduated from Clemson University and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He pastored Poe Mill Baptist Church in Greenville, SC from 1989-1992, and Donalds Baptist Church in Donalds, SC from 1993-2005. He also ministered as interim pastor and guest preacher at a number of Anderson area churches.
The memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville, SC, followed by a receiving line at the church. The family invites all to stay and participate in a potluck meal following the service.
