Jo E. Gaines

Jo E. Gaines, 85, went to be with the Lord on August 13th, 2021. She was reunited with her beloved husband, the late William K. Gaines. She was born March 3rd, 1936 in Greenville, SC to her parents, the late Dewey and Lily Hollis Edwards.
Jo is survived by her daughters, Michele Whitfield (Scott) and Nicole Gaines; her granddaughters: Brandy McCoy Moser, Brittany Whitfield (Andrew) and Trinity Whitfield; and her great grandson, Cooper Williams.
Jo loved water skiing, animals (especially her cat Clark), going to the beach and collecting angels. She was a long time member of Berea First Baptist Church. She was a Social Worker and retired from Community Long Term Care.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 at 3pm at the Cremation Society Of SC-Westville Funerals Chapel 6010 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611.
