John Idus Grimes, 78 passed away at his home, Saturday, January 26, 2019. Born May 18, 1940 in Colquit, GA. In addition to his wife, Arlene, he is survived by his son, Johnny Lamarr Grimes (Colleen) and daughter Janice Grimes Cantinieri (Nick), along with 5 grandchildren, Troy Grimes, Shannon Eikenberg (Brian), Renee Grimes, Elizabeth Grimes and Hunter Cantinieri, along with 4 great grandchildren.1
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 9th, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church, Blackman Road and Millwee Creek Road, Sandy Springs SC 29677. The Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 pm with Tempe Brown and Rev. Tom Warnock officiating.
In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to HOSPICE of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621
