John Ellsworth Heeckt III

John Ellsworth Heeckt III passed away quickly and peacefully on December 30th, 2020 due to complications from cancer. He was 44 years old and married for 7 years to Brandy Moss at Issaqueena Falls, SC. John and Brandy, their rabbit Gandalf and dog Crowley had the pleasure of traveling for 6 months across the country before COVID hit. They spent 3 months in New Mexico and a brief stay in Wyoming before heading back to South Carolina. They enjoyed gaming online with friends and spending time with Mom who celebrated a family Christmas with a great dinner and board game of Catan after dinner. He is the champion of the family.

He is survived by his wife Brandy Charlene Moss, Mother Joan Mikoch Brown {Ernest}; Father John E. Heeckt Jr. {Mary}; Grandmother Loretta Mikoch: predeceased by Grandfather Marko Mikoch: Aunt Darlene Mikoch; Uncle Mark Mikoch and Carl Heeckt: Stepson Malakhai (MJ) Moss: Stepsister Trulie Towne {Curt}: Stepbrother Wayne Miller.

There will be a private memorial ceremony on January 17, 2021. Immediately following will be a scattering of his ashes. He is also survived by a multitude of cousins including Matthew, Kyle, Lori, and Stephanie. Predeceased by cousin Ryan.
