Johnny Harris

Johnny Steve Harris, 74, of Greenville, SC, passed away on March 27, 2022. He was the son of the late Fred Harris and the late Elsie Freeman, born in Spartanburg, SC, on October 15, 1947. Johnny was survived by his beloved wife Carolyn Kay Kowalewski Harris; daughter Bonnie Jean Harris Malone (Michael Pittman); siblings Jackie Ray Harris and Barbara Jean Harris Little; grandchildren: Christopher B. Malone, Matthew R. Malone, Steven A. Malone; great-grandchild Kamden D. Hendrix-Malone; son-in-law Brian Malone. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughters Pamela Lynn Harris and Joan Lee Harris. Johnny worked with Southern Weaving from 1982 to 2009 as a fixer and a beam operator. He enjoyed fishing, camping, listening to country music, and above all else spending time with his family. Johnny will be greatly missed and loved by the ones he left behind but he will never be forgotten.
