Joni Kristian Pace

Joni Kristian Pace, 35, of Greenville, SC, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Joni never wanted to be defined only by her addiction. She was a beautiful, intelligent, and brave woman who had a heart of gold for all walks of life. Joni was sweet, humble, and would do anything for anyone. She always lit up the room with her smile even while struggling with her demons. Joni had a loving heart for her sons Kaleb, Lathan, Kaden, and their father Brian. She loved her dog Baby Girl. Her mother Jo Ann McAlister and stepfather Darren McAlister take comfort in knowing that Joni is pain-free and in the arms of Jesus and her grandma Mary. Joni attended church at Westville Church of God of Prophecy and always looked up to her Pastor, Karen Durham. She is survived by her three sons, mother, stepfather, father: Phillip Pace; brother: Anthony Pace, stepsister Kayla (Cody) Bradley; stepbrothers: Matthew, Jordan, and Auston (Shauna) McAlister, aunts: Angie Hines and Linda Gail; nephew: "little" Anthony; and cousins.
Joni is preceded in death by her grandparents Billy Joe and Mary Hines, and Jack and Ann Pace.
Visitation will be held at Cremation Society of SC and Westville Funerals at 6010 Whitehorse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611 on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, from 1-2 PM with a funeral service to follow. The family will be at the home of her mother Jo Ann McAlister.
