Joyce Brown

Mrs. Joyce Brown, age 79 went home to be with Jesus and her beloved husband Buddy on Monday, August 2, 2021.
She was born on February 14, 1942, in Christiansburg, VA to the late Franklin "Hogue" and Mamie Ruth McPeak.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Donald "Buddy" Brown, two brothers, Charles "Tom" McPeak and Robert "Bobby" McPeak.
She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and had the most giving heart. More than anything she loved spending time with her family. To know her was to love her.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Donna Stanfield, her son Steven Gregory "Greg" Brown and wife Jeri. Her grandchildren, Steven Brown, Destiny and Michael Goins, Jennifer Stanfield, Ryan Brown, Ashley Davenport, and Donald Seagraves. Great-grandchildren, Justyn Goins, and Addisyn Goins who she adored and had a very special bond. And her grand-dog Snickers Brown. Joyce also leaves behind several nieces that were very special to her.
She will be remembered for her giving heart and the love she showed to everyone who knew her.
A service to honor Joyce's life will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Westville Funeral Home, 6010 Whitehorse Rd
