Juanita Ridley Crawford

Juanita Ridley Crawford, wife of the late R.C. Crawford, passed away on August 11, 2019 after an extended illness.
A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Crawford was the daughter of the late Hubert and Clara Ridley of Westminster. She was retired from the textile industry and served as an Avon Representative for forty five years. She said that she made many good friends through Avon and loved providing that service to people. She was a lady of great faith and always active in her church serving as Sunday School teacher, Church Greeter and on various committees throughout the years, including the Benevolence Committee for which pound cake was her specialty. She was athletic when younger and was an avid sports fan and loved to read.
Mrs. Crawford is survived by her son, Randall C. Crawford(Teresa), her daughter, Dianne C Holstead (Charles), one granddaughter, Summer Faulkenberry (Jason), two grandsons, Travis Holstead, and David Holstead (Melissa), and three great grandchildren, Luke, Andrew. and Maggie Holstead, one brother, Herschel Ridley(Lena) and two sisters, Evelyn Lyle and Gladys Fitzgerald.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs Crawford was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Herman, and Haron Ridley and two sisters, Guynelle Mc Dermott and Geraldine Jennings.
A memorial will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019. Family will receive friends at at Grace Baptist Church, Wells Hwy, Seneca at 1 PM with her service following at 2:00. A private family graveside service will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace Baptist Building Fund.
