Kathy Sigmund

Kathy Sigmund, 61, of Liberty, South Carolina, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on May 19, 1957 in Charleston, South Carolina to her parents, Raymond Narvin Riding and Leila Mae (Croft) Riding, she lived in the upstate since 1979 and she lived in Liberty for the last 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her cats, her grandchildren and with her family. She was always willing to help those in need and will be remembered for her generosity of heart. Many of her fondest memories were spent with her church and her church family.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents. Those who will most cherish her memory are her husband of 41 years, Kurt Sigmund of Liberty; her daughters, Stephanie Medlin and her husband, Michael of Liberty and Kristina Medlin and her husband, Anthony of Pickens; her grandchildren, Caleb Sigmund, Daniel Sigmund, Matthew Medlin, Hailey Medlin and Scarlet Medlin.

Services to remember and honor Kathy’s life will be at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Fellowship Baptist Church, 315 Hamlin Road, Liberty, South Carolina 29657. Officiating will be Reverend Christopher Boyd Lusk. A gathering of Kathy’s family and friends will be from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Church. Rite of committal and Interment will follow services in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.
