Kay Slawson

Kay B. Slawson, 69, of Anderson SC passed peacefully while surrounded by loving family on August 15, 2018.
Kay was born ok December 15, 1948 in Winston Salem, NC to Bud and Frances Bodenhamer. She has three siblings, Gail Todd, Kerry Bodenhamer and Kathy Hunter.
Kay married Wayne Slawson on May 11, 1979. They had one son together, Christopher and one step son, Kenny. She had three grandchildren by Christopher and Leila. Keegan, Caden and Wesley. And two grandchildren by Kenny, Nicole and Will.
Kay impacted everyone she met in a profound way. She was know to many as “Mrs. Kay”. She was a wonderful daughter, a great sister, a loving wife and the best mother and grandmother anyone could ask for.
Her smile, her selflessness and her love for her family will be greatly missed. She left this world with many great memories and stories to tell.
