Leonard E Hammons

Leonard E. Hammons, 88, Easley, SC passed away on August 12, 2020. He was born on July 16, 1932 in Liberty, MS to the late Leonard Hammons and Maggie Lorraine Rollinson Hammons. Leonard leaves behind: children Teresa Hobgood, Elizabeth Johnston, Jessica Boutwell, siblings Steve Hammons and Dean Hammons, and ten grandchildren. He is preceded in death: parents, spouse Dorothy Hammons, daughter Sharon Hinton, and brothers James Hammons and Steve Hammons. Leonard served his country during the Korean War and the Navy SeaBees during the Vietnap War. After his service he became a police officer to service his community. Leonard was a lover of history, fishing, deer hunting, and hanging out with his brothers. He might of left this earth but he will remain in the hearts and minds of his family and friends.
