Mack DeLaney Mason

On Thursday, November 21, 2019, Mack Delaney Mason, loving husband and father passed away at the age of 68. Due to complications from surgery in Greenville, SC. He was born October 13, 1951 in Lynchburg, VA to his parents; the late John W. and
Bonnie Bourne Mason.
He resided in Travelers Rest, SC with his wife of 42 years Robin. Mack "Delaney" was a retired pipe welder, Union Member of the Local 74. His love for music was his passion in life . He loved the Marcus King Band and he played the harmonica for over 50 years with multiple bands across the country. Delaney loved Clemson Tigers Football and spending time fishing.
He is survived by his wife; Robin Elaine Eckert Mason, his daughters; Tina ( Tommy Williams), Amy ( Randy Tibbeetts) and Michalina ( Nathan Law), his son; Jonathan Mason, his grandchildren; Savannah Williams, Danielle Williams, Selina Howard Fraunfelter (Rhet Fraunfelter), Mahayla Law, Nellie Williams, Hunter Law, Avery Tibbetts and Griffin Tibbetts, his great grandson; Reid Fraunfelter, his younger siblings; Terry Mason, Jennifer Mason Jones and Kelly Mason and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Mack was predeceased by his younger brother; Dough Mason.
Visitation will be held November 25, 2019 from 4-5pm with a “Celebration of Life” service to follow from 5-6 pm. All are welcome to come and share a short song or memory during this celebration.
