Maria Estefania Ortiz

Maria Estefania Ortiz was born in Fredonia, Antioquia, Colombia on March 16, 1930. She was the daughter of Ysidro Antonio Pabon Rios and Maria Dolores Hernandez Torres, and was the third of ten children. On April 27, 1948, she married the love of her life, Pedro Bernando Ortiz. They were happily married for 62 years, until his passing in 2010. During her life, she had 12 children, 31 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
She was a lovely wife, mother, and grandmother. Maria Estefania was a very brilliant and driven woman. She had the strong will and ability of a business woman, never giving up on what she believed to be right. Her dedication to her family, and to god, is something she will forever be remembered by.
