Marvin Davis Childress

Marvin Davis Childress, 86, went to be with His Lord March 17, 2020. He was born to the late Roy and Mattie Childress in Salem, SC on Ocotober 3, 1933. Marvin is going to be laid to rest with his beloved wife Estelle of 61 years. He is leaving behind many children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, three sisters, and a brother. He is predeceased by his wife, parents, two children, and a brother. Marvin will be truly missed by friends and family, but he is in a better place with his Lord, wife, and is no longer in pain. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Providence Baptist Church of Greenville, SC, Meals on Wheels, and the Shriners. A private service will be held at a later date.
