Mary Ellen Mason Ford, of Greenville, SC went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 25, 2019.
Mary was born September 16, 1948 in Greenville, SC to the late; Stanyarn Mason and Ellen (Bishop) Mason. Mary was a long-time member of Fairview Baptist Church in Greer, SC. She graduated from Greer High School and attended cosmetology school following high school. Mary loved working with flowers, tending to her dog Dooley and most of all caring for her family.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents and her brother; Bob Mason.
Mary is survived by her two children; daughter, Shannon Franklin (Chad) and son, Shane Holliday (Michelle), sister; Elaine Edwards, brother; Lavern Mason (Brenda), sister in law; Betty Mason, four grandchildren; Blake, Chase, Cody and Colten, and one great-grandchild; Bella.
The family of Mary Ford wish to extend our sincere thanks to St. Frances hospital, doctors, and staff as well as Brushy Creek Cottages doctors and staff for the great care given over the last several months.
A special thanks to hospice for your guidance and loving care during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held on Saturday March 30, 2019 at Forestville Baptist Church, 2 Old McElhaney Road, Greenville, SC,begining at 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Cremation Society of SC & Westville Funerals are assisting the Ford family.
