Mary Jo Knott, 83, passed away April 18, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Greer, South Carolina. A resident of Clinton, South Carolina.
Predeceased in death by husband, James Ira Knott.
Daughter of the late Hazel Ruth Walker Knight and Columbus Holloway Knight of Knoxville Tennessee.
Predeceased in death by one son, Harry Joseph Knott. Surviving, four sons, Robert Cyle King and Charles Columbus King both of Clinton, SC, Michael Lee Knott (Sally)of Jacksonville, NC and Steven Mark Knott of Savannah, GA. One daughter, Vicki Tang Hopkins (Donnie) of Greer, SC. One brother, William M. Knight of Knoxville, TN and one sister Barbara K. Penland of Clinton, SC. Eleven grandchildren and Nine great- grandchildren.
She was a Christian of Baptist faith. She was a retired MRS Supervisor with Whitten Center and CNA with Bailey Manor of Clinton, SC and Homemaker.
She loved reading and working word puzzles. She loved shopping and traveling with her family. Her love and devotion was focused on her family.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm with a Memorial Service following at 3:00 pm at the Deliverance Tabernacle Church, 2232 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642. Burial will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Stock Creek Baptist Church 8106 Martin Mill Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Deliverance Tabernacle Church 2232 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642
