Nilsa Juana Arandes, 85, of Greer, passed away on February 2, 2021. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of Ramon Garcia Arandes and Benita Ochart Arandes.
Survivors include a son, Michael Skillin, two granddaughters, Autumn Rayne Skillin, and Maya Isabella Skillin. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Katherine, Dana, Orlando, Olga Nilsa, and Nancy. She was predeceased by Clara, Julio Lewis, and Ramon Orlando.
Nilsa worked for the US State Department for forty years as a Bilingual Secretary.
She was of the Catholic Faith and enjoyed cooking and traveling.
