Norris Eddie Richards

Norris Eddie Richards of Easley, SC passed away peacefully at the age of 70, after years of declining health, with his loving family by his side.

Norris was born and raised in Granite Falls, a small town in North Carolina. He was the son of John David "Dave" Richards and Jettie "Vetra" Richards. After graduating high school, he served in the US Air Force. He was also a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Easley, SC.

Norris is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Sharon, as well as four beloved children: Julie Gilstrap (Torrey), Melanie Queen (Sammy), Amy Richards-Siegel (Rob), and David Richards. He is also survived by three precious grand-children: Joshua, Timothy, and Emily. Also surviving are a sister, Shelia Herman (George) and a brother, Darrell Richards (Luda).

Norris was adored by everyone he met. He was full of life, and with him there was never a dull moment. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met. Norris loved the beach, fishing, and above all his family. They will always love and remember him.

Norris wished to have no services. He wanted everyone to cherish the memories they have of him.
