Pamela Lee Matheny

Pamela Lee Matheny, age 53, went to be with the Lord July 26, 2020 due to a recent stroke. Pam was born June 25, 1967 in Los Angeles, California to William Penrod and the late Ann Darnell Gillespie.

She was a graduate of Laurens District 55 High School, and worked at Easley Dialysis as well as Canon Memorial Hospital for many years. Pam loved people and always had a kind word and bright smile for everyone. Her favorite past-times included drinking coffee while watching the sun rise, going to the beach, watching General Hospital, and most of all...spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Ann & Bill Gillespie; sister, Debra Whitsel; and daughter, Wendy Matheny. She is survived by her husband, Mike Matheny; two daughters, Samantha Wooten and April Matheny; son, Michael Matheny; grandaughter, Collins Waterson; and sister, Chantelle Marckley.

Memorial services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, August 8th at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Pickens, SC. Flowers and potted plants may be sent to Holly Springs Baptist Church.
