Paul David Askew

Paul David Askew, 63, of Slater, passed away on September 8, 2022. Born in Greenville, he was the son of Robert Allen Askew and Ethel Bridwell Askew.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Sharon Painter Askew, two step-children; Amy McCombs, and Karen Cisson other survivors include his grandchildren; Thomas (Vanessa) Dover, of Blacksburg, and Brittany Foster (Torrance) of Travelers Rest, seven great-grandchildren, a sister, Bobbie Alexander of Spartanburg, and John Edward Askew of Travelers Rest.
He was pre-deceased by Broadus Askew, Francis Roberts, Mary Lou Burry, and Gary Neal Askew.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Monday, September 12, 2022 at Cox Chapel Baptist Church, 605 Hart Cut Road, Marietta, SC 29661. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00PM at the church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
