Paul B. McNear Jr.

Paul B. McNear, Jr., 80, of Simpsonville, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of the late Paul and Ruby Lunsford McNear. Paul served in the US Navy and retired from USX in Pittsburgh, PA after 30 years. Upon moving to Simpsonville SC, he worked for BMW for 15 years. Over the years, he and his wife fostered 86 children.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Paula M. Pare McNear; children, Michele (Joseph) Smeal, Challin (Dale) Logan, Everett and Bryce McNear; grandchildren, Samantha (Guillaume) Bauch and Hayley Logan; and was expecting his first great grandchild.
