Priscilla Ann Matthews

Priscilla Ann Matthews, 71, of Easley, SC, passed away on September 14, 2020. She was born to the late Frances and Moe Taylor on December 14, 1948, in Greenville, SC. Priscilla was reared in the home of her Aunt Alma Mann. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 18 years Daniel L. Matthews; children: Melissa "Lisa" Thompson-Meredith (Frederick), Tammy Thompson, Billie Jo Gabriel(Andy-preceded), William "Buddy" Thompson, Jr. (Sonya); fourteen grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings Karen Reynolds (Bob) and Debbie Lowery. Priscilla was a devoted member of Beechwood Church. She retired from Sloan Construction as a bookkeeper and clerical work. Priscilla was a loving mother, homemaker, and wife. Her love, laughter and caring heart for others will be what her family and friends will remember most. She was always willing to help or lend a hand. Whether it be baby sitting, fixing a meal for someone sick, or just lending an ear to someone who needed a shoulder to cry on. The family will be receiving friends and family at the home of Priscilla. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday 19. 2020 at New Life Baptist, 2691 W Blue Ridge Dr, Greenville, SC 29611 at 2PM.
