Mr. Raymond Eugene Henderson

Raymond E. Henderson 79, of Easley, South Carolina passed away on March 28, 2019 at The McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Raymond is widower of his beloved Jewel Stacey Henderson. They shared 57 years of marriage together. He was born in Blacksburg, South Carolina, he was the son of Wilburn Henderson and Evelyn Raines Henderson, and he was one of thirteen children. He was survived by three children Debbie Wilson (Dwayne), Mitchel Henderson (Melinda), and Scott Henderson (Misty). He was survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren.
He was a truck driver for over 30 years. He was a member of Casey Creek Baptist Church of Chesnee, South Carolina. His biggest joy in life was spending time with all his great grandchildren, especially Nicholas. Everyone could expect to see Nicholas if Raymond was present. He also loved farming a garden every year he could. He will be remembered for his kind heart. He was always willing to give or help if he could.
A graveside service will be held on April 16, 2019 at Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee, South Carolina at 2:30 pm. Minister: Shane Cleaper will lead Eulogy service.
