MD Ricardo Unabia Alerre

Ricardo Unabia Alerre, MD, Duncan, SC, passed away on January 25, 2021. He was the son of the late Lorenzo Alerre and Teofila Unabia, born in Carcar, Cebu, Phillippines, on February 7, 1930. Ricardo is survived by his children: Lisa (John) McGeary, Robin Green, Rhea Grove, Noel (David) Polk, Ian (Andrea Cantley) Alerre; siblings: Rose Genabe, Frunie Hughet, Rhea Torres, and Alfonso Alerre; grandchildren: Ryan McGeary, Caitlin (Dylan) Epp, Liliana McGeary, Ashley (Howie) Split, Lizzie (Justin) Matz, Matt Grove, Alissa Gonzalez, Sarah Grove, Kindra (Jason) Kowalski, Krystle (Jeremy) Jayne, Kassandra (Brett) Henry, Joel Alerre, Anthony Alerre, Martha Alerre; great-grandchildren: Gabriella Gonzalez, Ethan Gonzalez, Mila Matz, Quinton Split, and Ronan Epp. He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife: Sylvia B. Alerre; siblings: Catalina Java, Nonie Noel, Nellie Cablayah, Gerardo Alerre, Alberto Alerre. Ricardo may have left this earth but he will be forever loved and missed by the ones left behind.
