MD Ricardo Unabia Alerre

MD Ricardo Unabia Alerre, 90, passed away on January 25, 2021, in Duncan, SC. He was the son of the late Lorenzo Alerre and Teofila Unabia, born on February 7, 1930, in Carcar, Cebu, Phillippines. Ricardo is survived by his children: Lisa McGeary (John), Robin Green, Rhea Grove, Noel Polk (David), and Ian Alerre (Andrea); three sisters; a brother; fourteen grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Sylvia B. Alerre; three sisters; and two brothers. Ricardo was a Retired General Surgeon that enjoyed singing, playing the piano, playing tennis when he was younger. He also served his country in the Airforce as an LTC and was of the Catholic faith. He will be truly missed by family and friends alike.
