Richard E. "Dick" Caswell
June 29, 1931 — February 7, 2022
Richard E. Caswell, 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away on February 7, 2022. A native of Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Earl and Dorothy Dawson Caswell. At age 17 he moved with his family to Whitman, MA then went on to serve in the US Navy aboard a destroyer during the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Norman, sisters Dorothy, Judy and Doris.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Caswell; daughters Catherine, Cynthia, Susan, Jamie; grandchildren, James and Jonathan (wife, Allison) Smith, Brian (wife, Jeanna) and Brad Chandler (wife, Misty), Timothy DiDonato (wife, Kim), Drake Toler-Wade and 16 great grandchildren.
