Richard G Jardin Jr

September 20, 1954 — February 5, 2021

Richard’s presence will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him, furry and feathery friends of all shapes and sizes, and the plant life he tenderly doted on.
Rich had a real zest for life. He loved to paint and had many hobbies. He was a nurturer of plants and animals and enjoyed fishing out back and feeding the ducks. He enjoyed the outdoors tremendously and was always mesmerized by interesting or beautiful cloud formations. He felt God’s glory when observing nature’s beauty. His faith was an integral part of his daily life.
If you caught Rich wearing a shirt when the weather was warm, it was sure to have a colorful Hawaiian print on it. A native of Hawaii, the culture and colors he grew up with always stuck with him. He liked his food hot and his beer ice cold. He would do any favor for anyone who asked.
He loved his family and friends. He also loved music, and had a song for every occasion. His laughter and joking will surely be missed by everyone who knew him.
Rich is survived by Beverly; his son, Carl; daughter, Heather; his mother, Lillian; his second mom, Fran; his brother, John; grandchildren, great-grandchild, and many cousins.
A Celebration of Life memorial service was held at Berea Friendship United Methodist Church on Sunday, February 14.
