Richard James Koelling

Richard James Koelling, 89, of Greer, South Carolina passed away June 19,2020. He was born October 29, 1930 in Minneaplis, MN. to the late Dorothy S. and Franz A. Koelling; He was proceeded in death by his wife of 62 years, Norma Jean (Cramer) Koelling, brother David F. Koelling, daughter Lisa Koelling Waddell, and son Erich F. Koelling. Survivors include daughter Angela (Bob) Sudermann, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Richard proudly served in the USAF 1951-1956 and in the intelligence community 1960-1972 before he embarked on adventures in retail, woodworking, theater, and editing court reporting documents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 24, 2020 in Greenville, SC. Time and details yet to be determined.
