Richard P. LaFrance, 71, of Piedmont, passed away on March 17, 2021, at his home. Born on August 17, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Joseph and Lucy LaFrance. Richard was married for fifty-three years to Arlene LaFrance. He worked as an auto technician for many years.
He was a loving father, son, husband, brother, and Uncle. He loved Yankee Baseball and the Dallas Cowboys Football. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and car racing he also enjoyed being with his family.
Survivors include his two sons; Paul (Amanda) LaFrance, of Port Jervis, NY., Kevin LaFrance of Piedmont, SC, and Josephine Staler, of NY, Linda (Glenn) LaFrance Huther, of Weat Milsorp, NJ. And three grandchildren: Jaela, Maraya, and Brianna. Richard was predeceased by a sister, Bernadette DeKang, Yvonne Nappa, and Joseph LaFrance, Jr.
He will be truly missed.
