Robert (Bobby) Lee Matthews

Robert (Bobby) Lee Matthews, 70, husband of Linda Matthews of Greenwood, SC passed away April 10, 2018. Born on November 19, 1947 to the late Joel Matthews and Dorothy Riser. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons, Chad Matthews (Kristi), Delmus Matthews (Angie), Todd Matthews (Beth), Spencer Matthews (Crystal), Jason Matthews (April); brothers, Johnny Riser (Donna) and Robin Matthews (Denise); sisters, Ginger Matthews (Dewey), Patti Meads, and Karen Oberon (Rob); aunt, Mickey Moon (Lee); and uncle, Fred Leopard. Bobby is also survived by his many beloved nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church, enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and driving his 1967 Chevy pickup truck. Bobby will be truly missed by his family and friends but he is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 21, 2018 at Hyde Park Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. Anyone who would like to be apart of the motorcycle brigade please meet at the Quick Pantry next to Dink’s Body Shop in Greenwood, SC at 12:30 any questions contact Dennis Reynolds.
