Robert W. Spain

Robert W. Spain, 76, of Piedmont, SC passed away on August 26, 2021. He was born in High Point, NC to the late Raymond and Elizabeth Spain. Robert was stationed on the USS Shangri La and received the National Defense Service Medal while serving in the US Navy. After retiring from General Electric in 2002, he was able to pursue his favorite pastimes of fishing, golfing, softball, and going to the shooting range.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Nancy Spain.
He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Spain, sister Nancy Williams who is married to George "Danny" Williams, his brother Richard Spain who is married to Karen Spain, and his twin brother Ronald Spain.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Friday, September 10th at Westville Funeral Home.
