Roger Alan “ Al “ Denney

ROGER ALAN “ AL “ DENNEY, 44, of Easley passed away on October 14, 2017 in Anderson. Born on May 28, 1973 in Easley, South Carolina to his parents, Coleman Benjamin Denney and Patricia Ann (Haney) Denney, he was a lifelong resident of the upstate and worked as an auto mechanic. He will be remembered for his kind heartedness his generosity and his willingness to help others. Al also enjoyed spending time with his family. The love he held for his children, his mother and his sisters will be always remembered.

Al is preceded in death by his father; his nephew, Brian Michael Reed and his maternal grandfather, William David Haney; paternal Grandparents, J. B. and Allene Denney. Those who will most cherish his memory are his mother, Patricia A. Denney of Easley; his children, Reesie Ann Denney and A. J. Denney of Pickens County, South Carolina; his maternal grandmother, Willene Haney of Easley, SC; his sisters, April Kirk (Victor Zertuche) of Easley, SC, Brenda Reed (Brian, Sr.) of Liberty, SC and Lisa Cuellar (Sixto) of Easley, SC; three nieces, eleven nephews, one great niece and one great nephew.

Services to honor Al’s life will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in the Chapel of Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC. 29611. A gathering of Al’s family and friends for viewing will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Reverend Jack Connelly, pastor of West End Baptist Church in Easley. The family will gathering following services at the home of Brenda and Brian Reed, 276 Watts Road, Liberty, SC 29657.
