Sam Hewitt

Carl S. 'Sam' Hewitt, 69, passed away September 25, 2021. Born in Greer, he was a son of the late John Thomas, Sr. and Myrtle Hughes Hewitt. Sam was retired from Commercial Air as a master mechanic.
He was predeceased by his wife Lorraine Brown Hewitt. Surviving are three children, Paula Redding (James), Sammy Hewitt (Connie), and Jeff Hewitt; a step son, George Morrow; five grandchildren, Rebecca, Sam, III, Grace, Josh, and Matt; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, John Thomas Hewitt (Pamela), William Walker Hewitt (Evelyn), and James Edwin Hewitt (Janice); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services will be announced at a later date.
