Sheila Norwood

Sheila (51) died quietly in her sleep in her home in Gray Court, South Carolina. She was born in Hancock, New York, and grew up in the Catskill Mountains. Sheila loved to draw and was an impressive athlete, playing basketball, soccer, and softball. She spent several years working at a nursing home before moving to South Carolina. She was very proud of her Korean heritage and loved Korean cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Her family was very important to her and she especially treasured spending time with her granddaughter, Willow. Sheila was very caring and considerate. She had an infectious smile and a playful sense of humor that will be greatly missed. "Tsst…DUH!"
Sheila is survived by her daughter Janice O’Dell; grand-daughter Willow Stroud; father David R. Norwood Sr of Walton, NY; mother Anna Norwood of Clifton, Va; grandmother Oknan Lacey; brother David R. Norwood Jr. (Tina); sister Wandee Norwood; brother James R. Norwood (Sarah) as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
