Shirley Hembree Young

Shirley Hembree Young, 85, Greenville, SC, passed away on February 5, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Severn and Madeline Hembree, born in Asheville, NC on March 31, 1935. Shirley leaves behind her children: Amy Kennedy ( Bill), Eric Young (Caroline); grandchildren: Ned Kennedy, C.J. Kennedy (Jake), Sam Kennedy, and Sadie Payne. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband C.J Young. She was the Youth Secretary for First Baptist Church for twenty-five years. Shirley was an amazing grandmother and she loved her friends dearly!
