Teresa Kay Wilson

Teresa Kay Wilson, daughter of the late Audrey and Wayne Butler, passed away in her Greenville home on June 23, 2022. She is survived by her siblings, Debra Berg and Ronnie Childs; three daughters, Beverly Williams (Eric), Ashley Turner (Shane), and Kimberly Morris (Derrick); grandchildren Andrew Williams, Ashton Williams, Abigail Williams, Alijah Williams, and Jude Turner; great grandson Cooper Williams, and special friend, Terrie Turner.

Teresa was quiet and a bit stubborn, but as caring and loving as one could be. She loved her job and she loved her work friends - and was adored by her family. Teresa enjoyed spending time at home tending to her houseplants and reading. She was an avid music fan, was an accomplished drummer, and a huge fan of Motley Crüe – particularly Nikki Sixx.

Her hobbies were a bit eclectic, in addition to reading, music, and her plants, she was a roller-skating enthusiast, loved motorcycles, and had a bit of a sweet-tooth, who would never pass up a cotton candy.

A celebration of Teresa’s life will be held at Travelers Rest United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 2 at 2pm. At the family's request, please feel free to come as you are. Formal attire is not expected or required.
