Thomas Adam McMahan known to all friends and family as SAM, died on Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Anderson, SC
Sam is survived by his wife Deborah Wright McMahan, his brother James and his wife Betty McMahan. Other survivors are Sandra and Daniel Creeley, Kevin and Theresa McMahan, Lee and Karen McMahan Scott and Christi McMahan, Amy Wright, Terrance & Jenna Wright,
He was predeceased by his parents James and Bertha McMahan of Delevan, NY and FairPlay, SC and a Sister Wanda McMahan.
Sam was proud to be an American and showed his Patriotism serving in both the Navy and Airforce. Some of his assignments took him to Alamogordo, NM, Newfoundland, and Hawaii.
Sam was a devoted, loving husband, married to Debbie for 46 years. He enjoyed long bicycle rides exercising at the YMCA, and golfing with his friends, especially Ray Gentner. For the past 6 years traveling by motorhome was his favorite past-time. He enjoyed trips to Texas, New York, and spending winters in Florida with Friends at CAMELOT.
Having lived in Delevan, NY, For most of his life he was a diehard fan of the Buffalo Bills.
He worked and retired from Peerless Winsmith INC,.In Springville, NY, then moved to South Carolina to be near family
He was dearly loved and will leave a hole in the hearts of all who knew him
