Tony James Hatley, age 67, left this life on March 1, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Tony is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tracy Catalano Hatley. He is also survived by his brother and sister in Law Joe and Janice Hatley, One daughter and son in law Merianne and Alan Scheidhauer, and one son Andy Hatley. Tony had 6 Grandsons; Scott Howard, Jordan, Kevin, and Greyson Scheidhauer, Timothy Hatley and Gabriel Hatley. Tony also had one Great Granddaughter Emma Scheidhauer.
In his life Tony was retired from the Printing department and golf course at Furman University. Tony loved the game of golf and spent many of his happiest days golfing with his friends and family.
Tony loved all creatures big and small. He was a loving Husband, Father, and Papa. He worked hard all his life and was always there to support his family.
Tony is remembered as one of the kindest and most humble persons one could meet. He was always ready and willing to help others.
Tony never gave up in the face of setbacks and sickness. He fought the most courageous battle one could against Kidney disease.
Some things that made Tony smile was were his Jimmy Buffet tunes, nature, the beach, animals and of course his family.
A celebration of Tony’s life well lived will be held by his family at the Greenville Shrine Club 119 Beverly Road Greenville, SC 29609 on Friday March 9, 2018 from 5:00-9:30pm. Anyone who loved Tony is welcome to join us to share his favorite foods, music, and memories.
