Virginia Kellett Petersen

Virginia Kellett Petersen, 79, of Simpsonville, SC, passed away on March 1, 2021. She was the beloved daughter of the late James Perry Kellett and Agnes Coker Kellett. Virginia was born in Greenville, SC, on May 24, 1941. Virginia is survived by her son: Shawn Petersen; daughter: Amy Redding; granddaughter: Hannah Redding; sisters: Carolyn Ary and Ruth Davis; brothers: Darrell Kellett (Elaine) and Doug Kellett (Carol). She was preceded in death by her cherished husband Donald Leslie Petersen; daughter: Belinda D. Petersen; sister: Doris Kellett; and brother: J.P Kellett Jr. Virginia was a member of Fork Shoals Baptist Church and enjoyed spending her time with her family. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Fork Shoals Baptist Church, 110 Fork Shoals Church Road, Pelzer, SC 29669. A visitation will be held prior to the memorial service 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fork Shoals Baptist Church, 110 Fork Shoals Road, Pelzer, SC 29669.
