Mr. William Bartley Harris

Mr. William "Willie" Bartley Harris, of Pelzer, South Carolina, born on July 24, 1931, passed away at age 86 on July 6, 2018. He was loved by all and we will miss his laughter. William served in the Army from 1951 to 1953 in the Korean War and in the Air Force from 1953 to 1970 . He also worked as a postal carrier and in Bomb Disposal. William was married to Linda Harris. He is survived by his sons, Evan Anthony Harris, Noel Vincent Harris, and Randy Norris; daughters, Debra Liane Ellison, Connie Ruth Norris, and Donna Marie Norris Barbre; brother, Roy Harris; sister, Willette Harris; and grandchildren, Ciera Pruitt, James Randolph Norris, James Julian Norris, Juliana Harris, Alex Harris, Jason Ellison, and Johnny Ray Davis. Friends and family are welcome to attend the memorial service on Sunday, July 15 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at West Pelzer Baptist Church, 29 Main Street, Greenville.
