Albert Thomas "Bud" Harlow, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away at his home in Greenville, SC, on July 15, 2025, with his loving family by his side. Born on August 5, 1942, in Kingston, PA, Bud's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and service.
Bud dedicated his life to his family, his country, and his community. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Bettyann, for nearly 50 years, and a loving father to his children, Vikki Quinn (Johnny), Jill Leppard (Alex), and Wayne Harlow (Michelle). His legacy continues to live on through his grandchildren, Bryan, Chris, Craig, David, Austin, Katie, Aiden, and Micah, as well as his twelve great-grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy.
After honorably serving in the Air Force, Bud embarked on a career as a letter carrier, a role that allowed him to connect with and serve his community every day. His friendly demeanor and loving nature made him a favorite on his route, and he often went above and beyond to ensure that everyone's day was a little brighter.
Bud's interests were as rich and varied as his life. An avid sports fan, he could often be found cheering on his favorite team, the Dolphins, and sharing his passion for the game with his family and friends. His love for painting and traveling reflected his appreciation for the beauty of the world around him, and he captured many memories on canvas and through his adventures.
A true believer in Jesus Christ, Bud's faith was the cornerstone of his life. He was an active member of Taylors First Baptist Church, where he found great comfort and community. His faith-filled life was an inspiration to all who knew him, and his belief in the promise of eternal life gave him peace in his final days.
Bud's legacy is one of unwavering love, friendship, and faith. He approached every day with a smile, a kind word, and an open heart. His presence was a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him, and he will be deeply missed.
