Albert L. McNinch

April 24, 1948 — May 7, 2025

Albert L. McNinch, lovingly known as Al to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, at the age of 77, in Marietta, SC. Born on April 24, 1948, in Moncks Corner, SC, Albert was a man whose warmth and humor brought light to everyone he met.

Albert dedicated 35 years of his life to the textile industry, where his diligence and friendly nature made him a well-respected figure. His colleagues remember him as a man who was not only funny and friendly but also incredibly handy, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh to brighten the workday.

Albert's love for Westerns was well-known; he could often be found engrossed in tales of cowboys and the old frontier, a passion he enjoyed sharing with his family and friends. His spirit of adventure was matched by his love for animal watching, a hobby that brought him peace and joy throughout his life.

Family was the cornerstone of Albert's world. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Trudy M. McNinch, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage of 44 years. He was a loving father to his son, Matthew McNinch, and his daughter, Jessica Peterson, married to Robert. His adoration for his family extended to his cherished grandson, Caden Louk, and his granddaughter, Frankie Peterson, who filled his days with laughter and pride. He was the son of the late Arnold McNinch, Ruby Stack and James "JC" Howard.

Albert is also survived by his nephew, Dale Austin, and his nieces, Tracy Branham and Jennifer Driggers, his brother-in-law3 Byron Bang, who will hold dear the memories of their jovial and caring uncle. He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Bang, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms.

Those who knew Albert will remember the twinkle in his eye and his ever-present smile. His ability to find humor in everyday situations and his friendly demeanor made him a beloved figure in his community. His legacy is one of kindness, laughter, and the simple joys of life—like a good Western and the beauty of nature.

Albert's life was a testament to the power of positivity and the impact one person can have on so many lives. As we bid farewell to a man who was truly one of a kind, we find comfort in the knowledge that his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Albert L. McNinch will be deeply missed, but the stories of his kindness, his humor, and his unwavering friendship will be recounted for generations. Rest in peace, dear Albert; your journey has been a remarkable one, and your legacy will endure.
