Alicia "Puddin" Dawn Wolfenbarger passed away surrounded by her family on June 14, 2025, in Spartanburg, SC. Born on March 7, 1966, in Cincinnati, OH, Alicia lived a life full of love.
Alicia's journey began as the cherished daughter of the late Juanita Morrow. She was raised by her grandparents, John and Alma Morrow, after her mother's early passing. Throughout her life, Alicia was surrounded by a large, loving family. She was preceded in death by her uncle Roy Morrow, her aunt Sadie Morrow, her sister-in-law Angel Rivas-Bowers and her cousin Barbara Whisman. Alicia had a close relationship with her beloved younger brother, Anthony Scott Bowers. Alicia's family tree flourished as she became the devoted wife of Michael Ray Wolfenbarger and the proud mother to Kristin Dawn (Vikash) Gautam, Johnathon (Trista) Wolfenbarger, Matthew (Queshia) Wolfenbarger, and Lauren "Tinky" Wolfenbarger. Alicia's legacy continued to grow with the joy of her grandchildren: Aubrey Dawn, Bailey Dawn, Michael Wolfenbarger, Charlotte Toro, Aharah Coates, Matthew Lee, Nattison Olivia, Nattilynn Makeinzie-Dawn, Makenzie Rayanna, and Qwauniyah Tamar.
Her heart was always in the kitchen, where she conjured up meals that were more than just food; they were expressions of her love. Family dinners were sacred events where laughter mingled with the aromas of her cooking, creating memories that would last for generations. During those meals, Alicia would often share stories from her childhood, each one a lesson wrapped in nostalgia and love. Alicia's love for old movies, especially those magical Disney classics, was only rivaled by her passion for classic rock, the soundtrack to many of the family's most cherished moments. Alicia truly enjoyed being a grandmother and spent a great deal of her time with her grandchildren. Her loving nature touched and inspired all who knew her.
She leaves behind a family that spans generations, including her cousins Amber Cantrell and Jennifer Jackson, who, along with the rest of her family, will continue to honor her legacy by living out the values she embodied. Alicia "Puddin" Dawn Wolfenbarger's life was a beautiful story of love and family. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide her loved ones. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
