Alva Jean Bowers, 80, of Greenville, SC passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her residence.
Alva is predeceased by her parents; Dexter Twitty Rhodes and Flora Hardin Rhodes, sisters; Della Muckenfuss, Dolly Chappelear, Neil Coggins, Nadine Woodall, brothers; Bill Rhodes, Shannon Rhodes, and Buck Rhodes.
Surviving to carry on her memory are daughter; Terry (Scott) Vega, of Easley, SC, sons; Roger & Walter Bowers, of Greenville, SC, Ronnie Bowers, of Charlotte, NC, and Randall (Edna) Bowers, of McColl, SC, sister; Ruth Smith,of Greenville, SC, three grand children; Christopher, Amber, Erika, and one great grand child; Riley.
A memorial service is to be held on March 1, 2019 starting at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Westville Funeral Home, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611.
The family is at their respective homes.
