Angela Stein, lovingly known as Angie, passed away in her home on October 1, 2026, in Greenville, South Carolina, at the age of 68, leaving behind a legacy of faith, compassion, and devoted service to others.

Born on October 18, 1957, in Greenville, South Carolina, Angie lived a life marked by kindness, humility, and a steadfast desire to care for those around her. She was a woman whose gentle spirit and generous heart touched many lives, and she will be remembered for the warmth she shared so freely with family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

Angie devoted much of her life to being a caregiver, a calling that reflected the very best of who she was. She was known for being the hands and feet of Christ, living out her faith in practical and meaningful ways. Whether she was offering comfort, lending a helping hand, or simply being present for someone in need, Angie served with sincerity and love. Her life was a quiet but powerful testimony of faith in action.

She found joy in the simple and meaningful things of life. Angie loved thrifting, witnessing to others, walking, and caring for the less fortunate by feeding and clothing them. These interests were not merely pastimes, but expressions of her compassionate nature and her deep concern for the well-being of others. She had a heart for people and a special way of making those around her feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Angie was a loving, faith-filled, and generous woman whose character left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her family was especially dear to her, and she treasured the time she spent with them. She is survived by her daughters, Heather Ballew, Rosemary Cline and her husband Bryan, and Tabatha Stanton and her husband Sergio Byrd. She also leaves behind her beloved grandsons, Evan Ballew, Samuel Ballew, Chandler Cline, Nathan Cline, Caleb Henderson, "PJ" Sergio Byrd, Jr., "Vinnie" Vernon Byrd, Kingston Byrd and granddaughter Sarah Alverson.

She is also survived by her sisters, Cheryl Greer and her husband Gary, and Tonja Burnett and her husband David Brown. Angie was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Hoffman, and her grandmother, Bernita Walsh and her husband Wynn. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life, and she carried her love for family with her always.

Those who knew Angie will remember her for her unwavering faith, her generous spirit, and her willingness to help anyone in need. She lived with purpose and compassion, and her example will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Her life was a reflection of grace, strength, and devotion, and her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A life so lovingly lived does not end with death, but continues in the hearts of those who were touched by it. Angela Stein will be deeply missed, yet her legacy of love, faith, and service will endure for generations to come.
