Ann Silcox Moreland, a beacon of love passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, at her home in Greenville, SC, Born on January 28, 1946, in Chestertown, MD, Ann's life was a tapestry of generosity and warmth that touched everyone she met.

Ann's journey began as the eldest of six children. Her early years in Maryland were filled with the joys of family life, which laid the foundation for the incredible person she would become.

Survived by her husband James E. Moreland, her three children, James H. Moreland, his wife Renee, Kelly A. Schifferdecker, her husband Jon, and Jeffrey C. Moreland, his wife Beth, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild and 5 younger brothers. Ann's role as a mother was one she held most dear, often referred to by her children as the "Best Mom Ever," a title she earned every day through her unwavering support and boundless love.

Ann's talents were many, and her hands were rarely still. She was an artist with a needle and thread, creating beautiful pieces through her sewing that will be cherished for generations. Her woodworking skills were equally impressive, with each piece reflecting her attention to detail and her creative spirit. Ann also found solace and joy in working in her yard, where she cultivated beauty and a sense of tranquility that she shared with all who visited.
