Anthony DeSanto Jr., a beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away on February 21, 2026, in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on January 31, 1969, in New Haven, Connecticut, Anthony led a life characterized by his generous and thoughtful nature, which deeply impacted those around him.
Throughout his career, Anthony was dedicated to serving his clients with an analytical approach and a commitment to excellence. As an insurance agent, he prided himself on providing peace of mind to families, a reflection of his own values. His selfless personality extended far beyond his professional endeavors; he was known for his unwavering support and love for his family.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Anthony was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. However, it was his commitment to family that truly defined him. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, reveling in the joy they brought to his life.
Anthony leaves behind his cherished family, including his treasured wife, Michelle DeSanto, and his three sons, Joshua, Joseph, and Angelo DeSanto. He also leaves behind his sisters, Mel Ghirardi (Larry) and Gina DeSanto, as well as his sister-in-law, Stephanie Phillips. The warmth of his legacy will continue through his grandchildren, Adam, Asher, Luna, and Maddison.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Geraldine DeSanto and Anthony DeSanto, along with his other mother Theresa Cruz, affectionately known as "Momma T." Their memories will forever be a part of Anthony's enduring spirit as he is remembered for his love, generosity, and commitment to family.
