Arnetha Singleton, born on January 5, 1941, passed away on January 19, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and a deep commitment to her family and community. Arnetha was deeply rooted within her faith, and was a devoted member of The Nation of Islam since 1970. 

Arnetha was a beacon of love and faith, known for her passionate interests in cooking, baking, and gardening. As an enthusiastic member of both a gardening club and a baking club, she not only honed her skills but also shared her talents with those around her, bringing joy through her culinary creations and beautiful blooms. Her generosity extended beyond her hobbies; she was dedicated to helping those in need and had a remarkable affinity for working with children, enriching their lives with her nurturing spirit. She also dedicated 30 years of her life as a pediatric healthcare professional. 

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jeanine Fearon, and her cherished grandchildren: Larry D. Singleton, Jr., Nicole Singleton, and Jeremy Singleton from New York, as well as Zakai Harris and Zariyah Harris from Greenville, SC. Arnetha's family also includes her devoted sisters Geraldine Davis, Francis Singleton, and Minnie Singleton, all residing in North Carolina, along with her brother Arthur Singleton from Washington, DC. In addition to her immediate family, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Arnetha was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Lelar Singleton, as well as her son, Larry Donell Singleton, her sister, Joann Daniels, and her nieces, Kathy Martin, Terrial Singleton, and Darlene Bell.

The loving impact Arnetha made on her family and community will be remembered fondly. Her spirit shines bright in the lives she touched, and her legacy of kindness and service will continue to inspire all who knew her.
